CompanyZarvan Technologies, LLC., was founded by Farhad Khalafi and Robert Drucker, the co-founders of Information Management Research (IMR), which for years was a leader in document management with its Alchemy suite of products. Between the two, Zarvan's founders have over 40 years of experience in the Content Management industry. Zarvan Technologies is fast becoming a leading open source content management and Web 2.0 services company. This is being accomplished by creating strategic relationships with best-of-breed open source software companies, adding internally developed components and creating complete solutions for both traditional imaging and document management markets as well as the newer web centric intelligent content management industry. In this model, technology is a complement to, and not a replacement for, the Companies extensive knowledge of business processes and how that translates to content management needs. Management TeamRobert Drucker, CEORobert is a Serial entrepreneur with over 20 years C-level experience with startups and established technology companies. He founded two successful software companies, and performed in all operational roles. As CEO of Information Management Research, he successfully grew this content management application vendor from a start-up with bootstrap financing to one with a 10,000 plus installed base, 300 plus resellers and international distribution. The Company closed three rounds of financing from nationally known funds. IMR was sold to a public company at over 2.5 times revenue.Robert has an MBA from the Crummer School in Orlando, Florida and several years of law school. Farhad Khalafi, CTOFarhad is an exceptional computer scientist with proven skills in all aspects of commercial software development. He has a strong theoretical and practical knowledge in a variety of technical areas. As Chief Scientist and Co-Founder of IMR, he designed and built the award-winning Alchemy suite of products, created and managed multiple software development teams utilizing a multitude of tools and structured development methodologies. Most recently, Farhad was the VP of Engineering at Open Logic, a leading open source management and deployment company.Farhad has a Ph.D. in Quantum Physics and a Certificate of Advanced Studies in Mathematics from the University of Cambridge, UK. He also has a B.Sc. in Nuclear Engineering with Physics from the University of London. |
